(NST) the monitoring of the response of the fetal heart rate to fetal movements by cardiotocography; a reactive (normal) test consists of two or more fetal movements occurring within 20 minutes accompanied by acceleration of the fetal heart rate by at least 15 beats per minute for at least 15 seconds with a long-term variability of at least 10 beats per minute.
