pseu·do·sei·zure (soo″do-seґzhər) an attack resembling an epileptic seizure but being a type of conversion disorder; it lacks the electroencephalographic characteristics of epilepsy and the patient may be able to stop it by an act of will. Called also pseudoepilepsy.
