- h. lyase a lyase that catalyzes the cleavage of hyaluronic acid s, producing a number of 3-(4-deoxy-β-d-gluc-4-enuronosyl)-N-acetyl-d-glucosamines (hyalobiuronic acid). SEE ALSO: hyaluronidase (1), hyaluronoglucosaminidase. SYN: hyaluronic lyase.
