- e. of care all services provided to a patient with a medical problem within a specific period of time across a continuum of care in an integrated system.

- manic e. manifestation of a major mood disorder in which there is a distinct period during which the predominant mood of the individual is either elevated, expansive, or irritable, and there are associated symptoms of the excited or manic phase of the bipolar disorder.
