Abnormal tendency for each eye to rotate around its anteroposterior axis, the rotation being prevented by visual fusional impulses. [cyclo- + G. phora, movement]

cy·clo·pho·ria (si″klo-forґe-ə) [cyclo- + phoria] heterophoria in which there is deviation of the eye from the anteroposterior axis in the absence of visual fusional stimuli. See excyclophoria and incyclophoria. Cf. cyclotropia.
