predeciduous tooth
any tooth present at birth, which may be normal in all respects or may represent a hornified epithelial rootless structure, found on the gingivae over the crest of the ridge before eruption of the deciduous teeth. Called also dentia praecox, milk or natal t., and predeciduous dentition.
