β-thromboglobulin
β-throm·bo·glob·u·lin (throm″bo-globґu-lin) a platelet-specific protein released with platelet factor 4 on platelet activation; it mediates several reactions of the inflammation process, binds and inactivates heparin, and blocks the endothelial cell release of prostacyclin.
