tele·pa·thol·o·gy (tel″ə-pə-tholґə-je) [tele- + pathology] the practice of pathology at a remote location using telecommunications technology to transmit digital images for display on a high-resolution video monitor; images may be static or may be real-time images obtained by a video-equipped remote-control microscope.
