unilateral nevoid telangiectasia

unilateral nevoid telangiectasia
patches of essential telangiectasia in a unilateral, linear distribution; it may be either congenital or acquired. The acquired form is more common in women and represents a latent vascular nevus that becomes manifest; causes are thought to be increased estrogen in the body (such as in pregnancy or at menarche) or increased venous pressure (such as in liver disease). Called also unilateral nevoid telangiectasia syndrome.
