ri·bo·fla·vin ki·nase (ri″bo-flaґvin kiґnās) [EC 2.7.1.26] an enzyme of the transferase class that catalyzes the phosphorylation of riboflavin to form flavin mononucleotide (FMN), a cofactor for electron transfer reactions.
