mouth-to-mouth resuscitation

mouth-to-mouth resuscitation
a rescue breathing technique: with the victim supine, the rescuer places a hand under the nape of the victim's neck and a hand on the victim's forehead, also pressing victim's nostrils closed; the rescuer takes a deep breath and exhales between the victim's lips (two pairs of lips forming an airtight seal). This is repeated quickly four times to inflate the victim's lungs before allowing the first exhalation.
