- bite-wing radiograph
- a type of dental radiograph that reveals the crowns, necks, coronal thirds of the roots of both the upper and lower teeth, and the dental arches, produced on dental x-ray film that has a central protruding tab or wing on which the teeth close to hold the film in position (bite-wing film).
