cationic proteins

cationic proteins
antimicrobial cationic proteins occurring in the primary (azurophilic) granules of neutrophils. They have low molecular weights, are rich in arginine, and appear to inhibit microbial growth. They presumably include the previously characterized substance termed leukin.
