paraneoplastic polyneuropathy
a paraneoplastic syndrome, sometimes seen with carcinoma, multiple myeloma, or Hodgkin disease, consisting of polyneuropathy with sensory or sensorimotor symptoms. Cf. carcinomatous pericarditis. Called also paraneoplastic neuropathy.
