organizing pneumonia
pneumonia characterized by formation of numerous small foci of loose connective tissue called Masson bodies in the bronchioles and alveoli. It may be seen following injury, associated with interstitial lung conditions, or as part of the syndrome called bronchiolitis obliterans with organizing pneumonia (or cryptogenic organizing p.)
