p-phenylenediamine
p-phen·yl·ene·di·amine (par″ə-fen″əl-ēn-diґə-mēn) a diamino derivative of benzene used as a dye for hair, garments, and other textiles, as a photographic developing agent, and in a variety of other industrial processes; it is a strong allergen, causing contact dermatitis and bronchial asthma.
