oxyopter

oxy·op·ter (ok″se-opґtər) [oxy- + Gr. optēr observer] a unit of measurement of visual acuity, being the reciprocal value of the visual angle expressed in degrees. An oxyopter (1 degree) is equivalent to 60 Snellen units (60′) and corresponds to the counting of fingers at 1 meter.
