Opisthorchis sinensis

Opisthorchis sinensis
the common liver fluke of China, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, and Indochina, found in the bile ducts of mammals that eat fresh water fish containing the larvae. Larval development requires two intermediate hosts, the first a snail of the genus Parafossarulus or Bithynia, the second a fresh water fish of the carp family. Called also Clonorchis sinensis.
