5′-nucleotidase
5′-nu·cleo·ti·dase (noo″kle-o-tiґdās) [EC 3.1.3.5] a membrane-bound, cytoplasmic nucleotidase specifically cleaving phosphate from the 5′ position of nucleotides to yield nucleosides. The enzyme acts on a wide range of 5′-nucleotides and the reaction is part of the main nucleotide degradation pathway.
