Mycobacterium scrofulaceum

Mycobacterium scrofulaceum
a slow-growing, scotochromogenic species found in human secretions, particularly pus from suppurating cervical lymphadenitis in children, as well as in sputum and gastric lavage, sometimes in association with lung disease.
