[TA] ischiococcygeal muscle: origin, ischial spine; insertion, lateral border of lower part of sacrum, upper coccyx; innervation, third and fourth sacral; action, supports and raises coccyx. Called also coccygeal muscle and m. coccygeus (TA alternative).
