Musca domestica

Musca domestica
the common house fly. It may act as a mechanical carrier of the microorganisms of typhoid fever, cholera, dysentery, plague, anthrax, tetanus, trachoma, leprosy, and encephalitis, and of pyogenic bacteria, cysts of some protozoa, and helminth ova. The larvae may cause myiasis.
