me·bro·fen·in (BrIDA) (meґbro-fen″in) [USP] a trimethyl-bromine–substituted analogue of iminodiacetic acid (IDA); complexed with technetium 99m it is used for hepatobiliary imaging and hepatic function studies; administered intravenously. See table at technetium.
