myeloma kidney
renal changes occurring in multiple myeloma, due to filtration of large amounts of Bence Jones protein; they include tubular atrophy with multinucleated giant cells in the tubule walls and interstitium, as well as formation of myeloma casts (see under cast); this eventually results in renal failure.
