enamel hypocalcification
an autosomal dominant form of amelogenesis imperfecta due to faulty mineralization of enamel, characterized by a tooth crown that appears normal at eruption but soon assumes a white chalky appearance and gradually undergoes brown discoloration; the affected teeth are soft and rough.
