- hy·per·brady·ki·nin·ism (hi″pər-brad″e-kiґnĭ-niz-əm) a syndrome characterized by high plasma levels of bradykinin, in which standing produces a fall in systolic blood pressure, an increase in diastolic blood pressure and heart rate, and purplish discoloration of the lower limbs with ecchymoses.
