hemocoelom
he·mo·coe·lom (he″mo-seґlom) [hemo- + coelom] 1. the part of the coelom in which the heart is developed. 2. collectively, the spaces between the cells and tissues of many invertebrates, such as most mollusks, arthropods, and tunicates, through which a bloodlike fluid (hemolymph) circulates. Sometimes spelled hemocele or hemocoel.
