Van Slyke formula

Van Slyke formula
the urinary coefficient of various substances is equal to D/(Bl Ч √Wt Ч V), in which D is the daily output in grams of the substance in the urine; Bl, the grams of the same substance per liter of blood; Wt, the weight of the patient in kilograms; and V, the total volume of urine in 24 hours.
