fibrae parietopontinae
[TA] parietopontine fibers: nerve fibers that arise in the cerebral cortex of the parietal lobe, descend in the sublentiform part of the posterior limb of the internal capsule to become constituent fibers of the basis pedunculi cerebri of the ventral part of the cerebral peduncle, and end in the pontine nuclei.
