fibrae frontopontinae
[TA] frontopontine fibers: nerve fibers that arise in the frontal lobe of the cerebral hemisphere and traverse the internal capsule and peduncle, ending in the pontine nuclei. Together they form the frontopontine tract (tractus frontopontinus).
