- Fel·der·struk·tur (fel″dər-shtrookґtər) [Ger.] the term used to describe the pattern of organization of the myofilaments in cardiac and red skeletal muscles, in which the myofilaments are not associated in discrete myofibrils, but instead form a continuous field interrupted by mitochondria.
