pharyngobasilar fascia
fascia pharyngobasilaris [TA] a strong fibrous membrane in the wall of the pharynx, lined internally with mucous membrane and incompletely covered on its outer surface by the overlapping constrictor muscles of the pharynx. It blends with the periosteum at the base of the skull. Called also pharyngeal aponeurosis.
