eptatretin
ep·ta·tre·tin (ep″tə-treґtin) a potent cardiostimulant obtained from the branchial heart of the Pacific hagfish Eptatretus stouti and reported to be a highly unstable aromatic amine. Its chemical structure has not been fully defined, but it is not a catecholamine or other commonly occurring biochemical.
