- hereditary benign intraepithelial dyskeratosis
- an autosomal dominant disorder caused by mutation at 4q35, characterized by foamy gelatinous plaques on the conjunctiva and white thickenings resembling leukoplakia on the oral mucosa; photophobia is common in children, and blindness may occur. Called also Witkop or Witkop-von Sallmann disease.
