dynamin

dynamin
dy·na·min (diґnə-min) a 100-kD protein with GTPase activity, targeted to coated pits; as the pits invaginate during endocytosis, it self-assembles into helical collarlike arrays around their necks and is instrumental in the pinching off of vesicles. In EC nomenclature, called dynamin GTPase.
