disintegrin

disintegrin
dis·in·teg·rin (dis-inґtə-grin) any of a family of proteins occurring in snake venoms and interrupting the function of integrins by blocking their interaction with surface receptors. In very low concentrations, disintegrins also inhibit platelet aggregation.
