Killian dehiscence

Killian dehiscence
a triangular area in the wall of the pharynx between the inferior constrictor muscle and the cricopharyngeus muscle; it represents a potentially weak spot where a pharyngoesophageal diverticulum is more likely. Called also Killian triangle.
