Christensen urea agar

Christensen urea agar
an agar medium containing peptone or gelatin digest, sodium chloride, glucose, phenol red, urea, and phosphate buffer, used to detect urease production, especially in enteric bacteria such as species of Proteus, Cryptococcus, and aerobic actinomycetes. See also urease test b.
