Cary-Blair transport medium
- Cary-Blair transport medium
- an agar medium containing thioglycolate, phosphate, and sodium chloride, used for the collection and holding of clinical specimens containing gram-negative facultative organisms. The medium may be supplemented with calcium chloride, sodium bisulfite, and resazurin for culture of anaerobes.
