- C5b67
- a trimolecular complex of C5b, C6, and C7 that binds to cell membranes in the formation of the membrane attack complex; it can be inhibited by binding by vitronectin, which yields an inactivated complex unable to bind to membranes. C5b,6,7 is also a chemotactic factor for neutrophils. Sometimes abbreviated C5b–7.
