Killip classification

Killip classification
a classification system for patients with suspected or overt heart failure, based on a physical examination to determine clinical manifestations. Patients are divided into four classes, with class I being no heart failure; class II being presence of the third heart sound or basal lung crepitation; class III being acute pulmonary edema; and class IV being presence of cardiogenic shock.
