cartilago alaris major nasi
[TA] major alar cartilage of nose: either of two thin, curved cartilages, one on either side at the apex of the nose, each of which possesses a lateral and a medial crus; called also inferior cartilage of nose, inferior lateral or lower lateral nasal cartilage, and tip cartilage.
