cutaneous asthenia

cutaneous asthenia
a disease of domestic and farm animals, similar to human Ehlers-Danlos syndrome; the skin is fragile and easily torn. It is due to an abnormally low activity of the enzyme procollagen N-endopeptidase. Called also dermatosparaxis.
