articulatio talocruralis
[TA] talocrural joint: the joint formed by the inferior articular and malleolar articular surfaces of the tibia, the malleolar articular surface of the fibula, and the medial malleolar, lateral malleolar, and superior surfaces of the talus. Called also ankle joint.
