mycotic arthritis
infectious arthritis secondary to any invasive mycosis, such as coccidioidomycosis, blastomycosis, histoplasmosis, actinomycosis, candidiasis, and sporotrichosis, usually by extension from adjacent bone, and having manifestations similar to those of tuberculous arthritis. Called also fungal a. and a. fungosa.
