- systemic proliferating angioendotheliomatosis
- cutaneous and visceral intravascular proliferation of tumor cells believed to be of endothelial origin, with obstruction of vascular lumina and thromboses; it occurs in a benign, self-limited form in which involvement is limited to the cutaneous vasculature and in a malignant, systemic, usually fatal form in which various organs as well as cutaneous and central nervous system vessels may be involved, with variable clinical manifestations. The malignant form has been noted to frequently follow or precede lymphoma.
