p-aminobiphenyl
p-ami·no·bi·phen·yl (ə-me″no-bi-fenґəl) a nitrogen-substituted arylamine formerly used in dyemaking and certain other industrial processes; because of its toxicity and carcinogenicity, it is now used mainly to induce cancer in laboratory animals. Written also 4-aminobiphenyl. Called also p-aminodiphenyl, p-biphenylamine, and xenylamine.
