Henoch-Schцnlein purpura

Henoch-Schцnlein purpura
a form of nonthrombocytopenic purpura, sometimes a type of hypersensitivity vasculitis and sometimes of unknown cause, usually seen in children and associated with symptoms including urticaria, erythema, arthropathy, arthritis, gastrointestinal symptoms, and renal involvement. Called also allergic or anaphylactoid p., Schцnlein-Henoch p., and Schцnlein-Henoch syndrome.
