colostrum corpuscles

colostrum corpuscles
large rounded bodies in colostrum, containing droplets of fat and sometimes a nucleus; they apparently are phagocytic cells of the mammary gland, present for the first two weeks after parturition. Called also Donnй bodies or corpuscles.
