a chronic, brown, scaly, macular eruption, usually on the trunk, with epidermal alterations and a perivascular lymphocytic infiltrate. It may either represent progression of pityriasis lichenoides et varioliformis acuta or arise de novo. Called also chronic p. and chronic or guttate parapsoriasis.
